The Spirit of Tasmania operates regular ferry services between Geelong's Corio Quay terminal and Devonport, Tasmania. Whether you are heading south for a Tasmanian adventure or returning home to the mainland, Mibnb offers convenient short stay accommodation close to the terminal.
Corio Quay is approximately 15 to 20 minutes by car from our Admiral Place studios in central Geelong and our properties at Avoca Place, Alexandra Avenue and York Street.
A note on arrival times:
The Spirit of Tasmania frequently arrives in Geelong in the early morning, sometimes as early as 6am or 7am.
Standard check-in at all Mibnb properties is from 3pm.
If you are arriving on an early morning sailing and need somewhere to go straight from the terminal, we strongly recommend booking the night before your arrival so your room is ready and waiting when you disembark. This avoids waiting several hours for standard check-in and means you can rest, freshen up and start your time in Geelong comfortably.
We understand that ferry schedules do not always align with standard accommodation hours, and we do our best to accommodate early check-in requests where the calendar allows. If you are a foot passenger, Uber and taxis are typically available from the terminal for transfers to central Geelong and surrounding areas.
